![]() Marcel Quimby, FAIADescription: Marcel Quimby, FAIA, has broad professional experience in historic renovation, resotration, preservation planning, architeture, master planning, research, programming and strategic planning. This experience in designing and managing historic projects, as well as her 'hands on' experience with the Dallas Landmark Commission, Texas' National Register Review Board other preservation efforts provides an understanding of the complexities of historic projects and buildings. Based on this, Quimby has worked with private clients, public and government agencies, architects, consultants and other entities to successfully complete preservation projects and resolve issues inherent with these resources. In addition to her extensive experience in historic preservation, Ms. Quimby also has experience in corporate, institutional, government, educational, and retail architectural projects as well as accessibility design. This this background, Quimby's expertise in working with historic properties - preservation planning, evaluating and determining historic contexts, conducting historic resource surveys, architectural restoration, renovation - and adaptive re-use and renovation of not-yet historic buildings.
